The Aloe Vera or Aloe Barbadensis plant belongs to the Liliaceae family, to the group of xerophytic plants, and is native to North Africa. In Spain, it grows naturally on the Mediterranean coast.
The juice from the Aloe vera leaves is used in gel form for skin conditions such as irritations or inflammation. It produces a soothing and refreshing effect thanks to its high water content (99.5%).
