Artisan soap bar with olive oil: Cinnamon and Orange

Cinnamon sticks are the most recognized type of cinnamon and are obtained from the cinnamon tree (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), which is a tree native to Sri Lanka (India).

Its bark has aromatic, astringent, and stimulating properties and is used externally as an antiseptic in cases of bacterial and contagious diseases such as fungi. In addition, the crushed cinnamon sticks present in the soap give it exfoliating properties that will soften, revitalize, and smooth the skin through gentle massage.

Cinnamon essential oil, with its sweet and penetrating aroma, is widely used in various types of body treatments due to its toning and relaxing properties.

Essential oil can be obtained from the orange, as well as from the peel itself. Orange essential oil has important therapeutic properties, especially toning and antiseptic; it promotes collagen formation in the skin, making it look healthier and younger.
